What Stands Out

Top-notch products. Bold flavors. Distinct packaging and branding. Massive addressable market.

There’s a whole lot to like about Sauz’s current positioning in the market.

Sauz is meaningfully differentiating vs. competition in the premium pasta sauce segment by pairing striking flavors with a cheeky, playful brand approach.

The color-block packaging design compliments this strategy well and stands out on retail shelves in a big way. This is a great tactic for pattern interruption that should lead to strong consumer trial.

The best part?

Sauz products are fantastic. Delicious, actually.

Try the vodka sauce. It’s next level. My personal favorite.

But I’m not the only one taking notice…

Sauz-y Traction

Sauz is actively rolling out with a number of strategic retail partners across the US including Foxtrot, Central Market, Town & Country Markets, and more.

Whole Foods launches next month (March) in the SoPac region.

This comes on the heels of a successful launch at Erewhon in Q4 ‘23 with strong product velocities.

Distribution is expanding rapidly and the Sauz team projects they’ll be in roughly 3,000 doors and $4m revenue by the close of 2024.

The Raise

Sauz is raising an additional $1m via $10m post-money SAFE. $1m is already closed in this round and was led by Palm Tree Crew Investments.

Minimum investment = $15k
